News 21/2 Pavilion News The pavilion was discussed at length at last night's committee meeting, which ended in an upbeat mood. We are putting in plans to address the short term issue of being able to host cricket this season, and also the long term plan of rebuilding our facilities. We have alot of work to do in raising the funds and the awareness of our plight, and already we have received very generous and heart-warming donations and offers of support. Please visit the Pavilion Rebuild page for more details. Leaflet Distribution Ben Smitten has arranged for 500 leaflets to be printed advertising the club and the nets. Now looking for volunteers to deliver them!!! Please contact Allen Stevens or Gary Cook. Teamer We will be trying a new way of selecting and communicating the teams this season using a website called teamer.net which allows us to automate the sending and collecting of messages for team selection. Players will receive a text and an email, and can reply according to whether they can play or not. Players can also upload their availability. If you haven't yet been sent an invite then please let me know. Gary Cricket Tour Ben Smitten has arranged a provisional tour of Chester on the 24-26th July. £39ppn including 1 T20 match and 1 full match (in the grounds of Cholmondely Castle) For more details please contact Ben on bensmitten@hotmail.com |
