MESSAGE FROM THE TREASURER
Fundraising
 

Two recent events have raised £1000 for the new field fund.

The hard work of the fund-raising committee and the many people who helped at the Presidents XI/Beer Festival resulted in £720 in the coffers. The Table-Top sale last weekend raised another £240. The Club is extremely grateful to all who helped at these two events and hope that they will continue to be involved in the new field project.

The last ever game at the old field took place on Sunday 18th September. The Club will now move lock, stock and barrel to School Piece Field and concentrate all our efforts there.

CHANCE OF A LIFETIME ?????

Have you always wanted to do a parachute jump? Has it always been at the back of your mind, but never had the opportunity, motivation, money, etc? Well - Eynsham Cricket Club will pay for you to do it! There is a small catch however.....you will have to organise some excellent sponsorship for it. Perhaps your company would promise money (after all, its a cheaper way to get rid of you than redundancy!!). Friends, family, colleagues can all be asked to help. The club will help to find sponsors too.

Its a great opportunity for doing some extreme sport and helping the club at the same time - let us know if you are interested and we will give you more details. Go on - you know you want to do it!!

  ECC Alton Towers Trip - 25th September Although not an official trip, a number of the returning ECC Golf Tour members will be visiting Alton Towers on Saturday 25th September. It has been suggested that if anyone from Eynsham wants to join them they would be welcome.

Park entry is £27, or £18 if you book online at www.alton-towers.co.uk
Rides start at 10am, but turn up when you want. Mobile numbers can be passed on to meet up with others on the day.
