In a League match Eynsham defeated Witney Swifts by 3 wickets.

Witney batted first and were put under immediate pressure by some excellent bowling by Christian Drury (2-3 off 4 overs) and Michael Barker (1-11 off 4 overs). After 10 overs Witney had managed to score only 23 -3. Unfortunately Eynsham allowed Witney back into the game, mainly due to some poor fielding, and they finished on 79-6 with Dominic Coe taking 2-16 off 3 overs.

When Eynsham batted the batsmen steadily scored runs aided by some poor fielding by Witney. Christian Drury (12), Oliver Richardson (11) and Tom Ford (10) played some fine shots but got themselves out when looking set for a big score. Tension mounted as wickets fell until Liam Rainbow and Oliver Howe scrambled the necessary winning runs with 10 balls left. Eynsham finished on 80-7.
A feature of the game was 56 extras out of a total of 159 runs as the blazing sunshine took its toll on the fielding teams.
