In a friendly match Stoke Row defeated Eynsham by 9 wickets.

On a blistering hot day with temperatures in the mid 80’s, Eynsham were put into bat. Runs were slow to come by because of tight bowling but in the middle of the innings some good shots and quick running between the wickets saw the run rate improve. Christian Drury (14), Tom Ford (12), Oliver Richardson (9) and Dominic Coe (8) were the main run scorers. The final total of 79 all out could have been better – 4 run outs meant that we did not use up all of our allocated overs.

In reply Stoke Row made batting look much easier. They scored 80 for 1 off only 16 overs. The only wicket to fall came from a good catch by Dominic Coe off the bowling of Tom Ford. Stoke Row continued their innings and in the last four overs there was some good bowling especially from Liam Rainbow who bowled one batsmen and ran out another.
