In the league competition Eynsham U13 finished second to Swinbrook in League B. Both teams finished on 8 points having won four and lost one game. Indeed Eynsham beat Swinbrook, but the latter went through to the semi-final play offs because of a superior run-rate (runs scored/wickets lost), something for the boys to think about next year when setting off on suicidal running!

After a slow start the boys really came together as a team towards the end of the season. They are to be congratulated on their efforts and we hope they had fun too.

Thanks to Daisy Green for all of his hard work in coaching; Frank Drury for his umpiring; Tessa Ford for the organising and for her scoring and Martin Ford for the match reports. Thanks also to the Mums (and Dads) for providing refreshments and for coming to watch week in week out. The boys don’t know how lucky they are to get the level of support that they do.
