In a friendly match Eynsham defeated Cumnor by 5 wickets.

Cumnor batted first and lost an early wicket – one of the openers being clean bowled by Michael Barker for a duck. The batsmen then played a fine variety of shots and when they both retired Cumnor were 49 for 1 off 10 overs. The Eynsham bowlers then really applied the pressure and Cumnor could only add an extra 16 runs in the last 10 overs.
The pick of the bowlers was Ben Stratford who clean bowled 2 batsmen and finished with 2-10 off 3 overs. Tight bowling from Oliver Howe (1-3), Michael Barker (1-16), Jack Ward (0-4) and Mark Jones (0-8) and some good fielding also helped the team.

In reply Eynsham knocked off the required runs by the 17th over. In an innings that featured 4 retirements the best shots were played by Alex Howells (15 retired) and Liam Rainbow (13 retired)
