Another really good win for the Eynsham boys. So frustrating that it's took us till the second half of the season to hit our straps. The opening partnership looked really good until Els got triggered lbw. It was again left to Junior to hold us together. His 47 was painstaking but exactly what we needed as the middle order collapsed again. We were really struggling at 76 for 5. Olly was back in the hutch after lifting another one to mid on. So often he's looked on for a huge score this year. Tids and Dave both helped to lift the run rate and we felt that 180 was a winning score.

So it proved. We bowled really well again, and fielded sharply. Dave and Heeeeed didn't get the wickets they deserved. Nobby and Duds got combined figures of 8 for 75 and it was just too good for the Charlbury batting.

Sweet revenge after the disastrous pitch we had to play on at their place. How CAN a club afford a mini-bus, tracksuits, two pitches and still not be able to get some covers? Beats me.
